EA officially revealed FC 27's editions on July 23, 2026. There are three: Standard, Ultimate, and a new top-tier Ultimate Plus. Every edition includes the full game; the two premium editions add up to 7 days of early access and extra Ultimate Team content. US prices below are from EA's official pre-order page; regional store prices vary.
Standard Edition ($69.99): the base game, with no early access. It unlocks for everyone on the standard launch day, Friday, September 25, 2026. If you just want to play FC 27 and aren't chasing early Ultimate Team progress, this is the cheapest way in.
Ultimate Edition ($99.99): the premium bundle. It adds up to 7 days of early access (from September 18, 2026), a batch of FC Points and Ultimate Team content. It's aimed at Ultimate Team players who want a head start; if you don't play FUT, most of the extras go unused.
Ultimate Plus Edition ($149.99): a new, limited early-bird-only edition sold only during the pre-order window from July 23 to August 31, 2026. On top of the Ultimate Edition's early access, it bundles up to 10,000 FC Points spread across five monthly drops, Premium Passes for Seasons 1–5, and a Hall of FUT Player Pick (1 of 5). Once August 31 passes it is gone.
Bottom line: pick Standard if you want the cheapest way in and don't mind waiting for September 25; pick Ultimate for early access and FUT extras; consider Ultimate Plus only if you're a committed Ultimate Team player who values the FC Points and Premium Passes and buys during the early-bird window.
