The Last of Us Part I is a linear, single-player campaign, so its length is fairly consistent. A straight run through the main story lands around 14–15 hours on a normal difficulty. Mixing in exploration for optional collectibles and conversations pushes it to roughly 17–18 hours. A completionist run—every collectible (artifacts, Firefly pendants, comics, training manuals, workbenches) plus the bonus content—runs about 22–25 hours, and harder difficulties such as Grounded add more. That completionist figure includes the bundled 'Left Behind' prequel chapter, which is about 2–3 hours on its own. Chapter select makes mopping up any missed collectibles quick.
