As of now Rockstar has made no statement about cross-platform play in GTA 6. It has not been mentioned in any trailer, on the official website, or in press materials. Two important caveats: first, GTA 6 launches as a single-player experience with no day-one online/multiplayer mode announced, so crossplay is not even relevant at launch. Second, historically Rockstar has never shipped crossplay in any of its titles — GTA Online and Red Dead Online both keep players separated by platform, and there is no crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox in those games. There are unverified insider rumors going in both directions (some claiming a future GTA Online would launch with PS5/Xbox crossplay, others saying it is 'on the roadmap but not at launch'), but these are speculation, not confirmations. Bottom line: until Rockstar says otherwise, assume no confirmed crossplay. We will update this the moment there is an official word.
