Important: this size is an ESTIMATE and is UNOFFICIAL — Rockstar has NOT announced GTA 6's install size. Treat all numbers below as rough projections, not confirmed data. For comparison, GTA V shipped around 65 GB and grew past 100 GB after years of GTA Online updates, while Red Dead Redemption 2 is roughly 150 GB. Because GTA 6 has a larger map, higher-resolution textures, heavy open-world streaming data, advanced lighting, and expanded audio/NPC systems, industry watchers and outlets commonly project a launch install somewhere in the 150-200 GB range, with some suggesting you keep 200-250 GB of free space for the game plus its day-one patch and future updates.
